A slow boat away from piracy?

Having watched the Ipad, and the trend for dedicated music players to forgo external chip slots, and the trend of watching video on streaming video, (i.e. Hulu, ect.) and the announcement that when google books offers the orphan section (for pay section) will be straming rather than download, I wonder....

Is the move to streaming content (and to limited access gadgets) going to start a trend away from piracy? Not necessariy among the skilled techies, but the lower tech general populace, by making it not so easy to pirate and easy not to...
