there was a standing joke that the husband could not be left home alone with sharp things as he managed to cut the tendons on the top of his hand whilst tempting to shoo the cat off of the counter. I had been delivering the son unit to an explorer's meeting, came back and he was in the living room holding his towel wrapped hand up against his belly groaning about needing to go to the hopsital. I hadn't seen that he had cut his hand and thought he just had a belly ache. took me awhile to figure out what was going on
