On behalf of my wife
The surgery went successful in so far that 2 of the tumors were removed. Pathology confirmed them as category I and benign. The doctors do not expect them to return.
Another tumor will be monitored and if required treated by radiation. At this point the doctors say that further action - apart from monitoring is not necessary.
My wife is in ICU at the moment recovering from the surgery which took longer than expected.
At this stage the doctors do not know if or what side effects the surgery may have but will do some testing once she is back on the normal ward.
On behalf of Kattiscat I thank you all for your warm wishes. I will print them so I can take them with me and read them to her.
More post to follow as her recovery progesses. She did threaten me with unspeakable acts if I do not keep her beloved book forum updated.
