I remember my first 24 hours. Drink lots of water. This will stop you from getting fat while you are quitting. Exercise also helps fight the urge.

The water! Yes, I found I was extremely thirsty yesterday afternoon and evening, and thought I'd be peeing all night, but I didn't, so my body must have needed the water.
