Hi! Well Kobo eReaders went on sale yesterday the first mass selling of Readers in New Zealand. I purchased mine at midday and then spent the next few hours trying to get to grips with the system. It is not easy but thanks to help from the forums here I am slowly getting there.
The device is not as intuitive as I would have expected and a little clunky to operate. Still it gets Digital Reading going in New Zealand and I am sure better readers will eventually get to market.
I live in Auckland and there seemed to be a good number of enquiries at the shop selling the Kobo but no idea how many sales were made. It would be interesting to find out just how many units went out the door.
