Yes. That one will wipe out bookmarks nice and quick.
And also:
  • books,
  • themes,
  • notes,
  • dictionaries (even the ones that came with the device and most users did not make a backup of),
  • user installed fonts,
  • third party applications (such as fbreader180),
  • games,
  • photos,
  • startup logos,
  • scrensavers,
  • user installed languages,
  • keyboard layouts,
  • configuration files (I mean ALL configuration files, not just extensions.conf and other user supplied ones)
  • ... and compete directory structure where all the above files reside.

So if you are going to take an excellent advice that mtravellerh just gave you, also back-up all the above stuff together with your books.
