I tried the iPad version last night. It has some nice features, but I would prefer an easier way to set brightness, without creating "recipes." I find that a pain.
So far, I like the Kindle app best, because of its features, as well as book prices and selection. I'm not buying iBooks, because they're tethered to Apple devices. I also don't care about page animation or double-page reading.
