They told me the what-ever-it's-called period was over and I should contact sony. I'm very disappointed.

Does anyone have an email address of a helpful member of bhphotovideo?

I bought the Reader on about the 1st of july this year and reported that the device has a defect on 8/8/07. That's only about 5 weeks after I bought that damn thing. I thought this particular "return"/exchange/repair"-peroid is 60 day? 90 days?
It sounds like B&H has a set period for returns/exchages and you've exceeded it. Usually mosts stores won't go past 30 days. The Sony warranty is still valid if you can find someone in the USA to send it to who can then in turn send it to Sony.
