I love that show, and have a copy of The Jefferson Bible by Thomas Jefferson that Clay Jenkinson signed for me when he presided over the opening of one of our local library branches. I used to listen every week to his show on NPR, but these days I listen to them as podcasts via iTunes. Mr. Jenkinson is a remarkable scholar. His knowledge of the most minute details of Jefferson's life and his ability to speak extemporaneously on the subject are legendary. He once on the show said that the only person he ever met who knew more about Jefferson than he did was (the late) Carl Sagan, whom he met at a White House function to which both were invited.
