I get that the iPad isn't for everyone -- but this story reeks of him wanting to write what he wrote...then bought the iPad just to write a story about taking it back.

Sure, the iPad has TOTALLY replaced my use of the iPhone at home. So what? I don't feel bad about that, I'm glad I have a device that's even nicer as a couch/bed surfing device than my iPhone. Actually, because of the iPad, I'm going back to a dumb phone. I just don't need to spend the $30/mo data plan for the little benefit I get out of it.

The iPad is a bit heavy and awkward at first. Then you put it in the Apple iPad case and it's fantastic. But I had to give myself some time to work with it and find out how to best use it.

I like the guy who brought up the Ferris Bueller quote. It's perfect. No one NEEDS an iPad....but if you can afford it, it's really nice to have.

Unless you are an idiot who feels bad if you like the iPad more than your iPhone.
