Yes, I feel the same way on BoardGameGeek... there are so many features and culture and their own language over there I am such a noob. It's nice to come back here where I pretty much know what's going on. (Or do I?)
On BGG they have GeekGold rather than karma. People can tip you, etc. I'm trying to build mine up over there so I can have an avatar... without one I look like such a noob.
