"Everything" may be a bit wide, but, yes-- most of the times when I say something in anger, I'm saying something that I really mean and that I've just been biting my tongue on. "Anger" is when you say true things that you would otherwise diplomatically hold back.

No, like I said earlier, I didn't advocate banning anyone-- but you can't give an "apology" that isn't really an apology and expect everyone to kiss and make up, either.
Especially when it is done under deceptive circumstances (yes, I honestly
did click on the thread originally only because I expected cute little kittens-- the cute little kittens in the other thread are my cute little kittens.)

I'm curious to know what "other sites we both go to" you are thinking about-- I don't post on many sites, and this is the most "mainstream" of any of them. And I am no hypocrite. I'll say it up front-- I'm a liberal. I'm a (little "s") socialist. I'm an unrepentant atheist. And I think that religion is the opiate of dumbasses. I find it an eternal source of frustration that actual adults in the 21st century actually believe that magical sky fairies are real. But I (for the most part) manage to
not step into unrelated threads posted by religious people on religious topics and point and laugh. I only really attack religion here to mention proponents attempting to dumb down science education. And Youtube posts? I post Youtube posts in the "favorite Youtube" thread that I find informative or funny. But IMHO there is a galaxy of difference between not pretending to respect religion and advocating the slaughter of an entire nation. I think Islam is as dumb as any other religion, but I don't advocate killing all Muslims. (But if I could snap my fingers and may all religious beliefs in the world instantly disappear, I damn sure would.)
I'm no hypocrite-- I don't say that I have the right to not be offended, but you don't. You are perfectly free to say things that I find offensive-- and I'm perfectly free to decide what I think of you as a human being from those things that you say. (As you are free to judge me from my lack of deference to superstitions.)
