Woke up to darkness, thunder & lightning - then more torrential rains.
Baby cat so frightened she wouldn't come out from under the kitchen table for breakfast - had to push her bowl underneath. Only ate half - now back under the 2-ton chest of drawers she hides under to avoid storms and visits to the vet.
More storms to appear today. Temps in the 70s & humid. Flash flooding in some areas. A day to stay home and read the NYT.
