I'm not too keen on the LCD path since I may as well get an iPhone and use that insteads (and hurt my eyes) - I did have a look at the jetbook though. CNET thinks it's okay, but not great.
I think my next step will be to go to Borders and have a good 15 to 30 minutes play with it - according to some people that I've spoken to, after you've been reading for a while you don't even notice the flash.
