Ouch! Back injuries are so often so incredibly mundane in origin, aren't they? What's the point of being in pain if you don't have a good story to go with it, darn it?? Like the time I broke my toe in a rug store

Codeine has kicked in - I'm at that dangerous stage of pain relief when it feels as though it's actually better enough for me to resume vaguely-normal activity... but oh, feels GOOD!
