I haven't noticed any battery problems; I did manage to run it down to zip, but that was on the charge it had when I first bought it 2 weeks ago. Since then, I've not even got close to halfway... but I've been plugging it in alot to mess with the software (trying to get the desktop running under a 64 bit Linux distro - fun, wow.)
