I received my gift card in the mail today

it says
"Borders gift cards do not expire and are redeemable for retail merchandise only at U.S. Borders, Waldenbooks, and Brentano's stores, and for new book, music, DVD and video retail merchandise at www.borders.com."

It's unclear to me whether or not it will be valid for eBooks but I'm saving it to try.
