So upon further inspection others reasons poped up. I am book love first and foremost, I love Barnes and Noble to go sit in until they kick me out. I love to support my local library. So the instore browser and reading any book is fantastic, I can't tell ya how much I love that. Plus instore nook owner coupons and Free Fridays. Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It supports E-Pub so I can go to my local library and check out books and such. Such a great feature. and to find out the Kindle does not support e-Pub?

also here are my other reasons

1.) Brick and Mortar support. if you want it today you can get it today, same as returns, and if something feels weird or you don't understand, bring it in and they walk you through it. That is very nice.

2.) Wi-Fi. Kindles uses Whisper net. Hmm Whispernet may not do me any good when I'm up in that Bed Breakfast in Vermont or the Maine. Most if hotels offer wi fi. That is a little bizzare on Kindle's part.

3) I am fed up with wall in gardens. I love my iPod but hated the fact that I was so locked into iTunes. Amazon is taken there approach straight from their play book. Yes I know you can convert. But I don't want to have to convert hundreds of books down the road and have to strip the DRM. Just NO.

4.) Replacable battery. What happens when your battery will no longer hold its charge? And it will. What is Amazon's after warranty support on the battery? Do you have a $260 paperweight with the Kindle? If my battery dies, it's just a quick jump over to Best Buy. Same day back to reading.

5. sd mirco card slot. Oh Yeah I can fill that no problem That is a no on the Kindle, you'll have to either delete them out or archive to a mangement system on your computer. Yet again another extra hassels that needs not to be.

there are soo many other reason. Oh how I'm so lucky my wife cam home that day with a Nook.

It's sleek, it's sexy, it is just that much better.

too bad the current Nook (v.1.3) wasn't the one that came out in the beginning. I think the Kindle really would have slipped more.

but anywho thanks for reading and that is my Nook store.

did I meantion how much I love it
