The difference is that I
need a computer to use a word processor. I don't need a reader to read books. I just need a book. True, I need a reader for e-books, but my point was that I can just as easily read the book in hard copy without a reader.
I would be willing to pay a premium if I
needed books in electronic form, but the vast majority of consumers don't have this need.
