My late mum was Welsh, Zootoo, but I'm afraid 'iechyd da' is about my limit as far as language is concerned. I can pronounce place names pretty well, though. Even Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch.
Weak Welsh joke for you: A pair of American tourists stop for a bite to eat there and ask the waitress: "Hey, can you pronounce the name of this place ... but very, very slowly?"
"Sure," she said. "M-A-C-D-O-N-A-L-D-S."
