No, I and I assume the others arguing the same side do not accept your repeated attempts to frame the argument as if people are trying to take something from you without paying. Copyright comes from us the people it is not natural and it is not for your benefit it is for ours. When you chose to publish you're signing a social contract and a legal one that says you let go after a limited time. You agree there is fair use for parody for backup for format shifting for educational use for archiving, the list goes on but basically you agree in advance your control cannot be total. When you and a whole industry decide to renege on the deal why do you anyone at all to keep to the other end of it?
You don't have any respect for copyright when you ignore the parts that don't put money in your pockets, suggesting that other people are the problem is hypocritical.
