I'm on Part Two of The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne, this month's book club book. It was a bit slow in the beginning until I realized that it was written in the late 1800's (before TV) and the long, detailed descriptions were probably used to "paint" a picture for readers of the era.

I've also begun, Future Diary by Sakae Esuno ( a manga pbook) that was an impulse buy when I was purchasing a Mother's Day gift for my mom.
I'm about 1/5 the way through The Voyage of the Minotaur by Wesley Allison (HistoryWes on MR) and anxiously wanting to discover what is going to happen. <I love this one Wes!>

I'm still making it through this month's Book Club book, The Mysterious Island. So far, I've decided this would be a good book to have if stranded on a desert island.

I just made it home from work with a stop at a bookstore on the way home. SOMEBODY (I won't name who ) got me excited about starting F Paul Wilson's Repairman Jack's books again. (Since I already have some in pback, I decided to continue in pback.)
