Things sure change fast in the land of OZ.
Yep, had the same experience with Border at Chermside a few months ago.

Border in town has 3 Kobo eReaders on display. I had a play with one, talked to some interested parties about MR and about other eReader related stuff. Having said that - the staff at Borders were helpful and able to answer my questions.

I still wouldn't buy a Kobo - I think for what it does it's overpriced. But that's me.

While in town I took myself across the Farmer's market. Spend a bit of money there too (never can help myself around food). Now I have to re-think the menu for this week:

Meal 1 for tonite: hot smoked salmon with steamed green aspargus and creamy mashies
Meal 2: Chorrizo with broadbean mash and sauteed potatoes (got myself some kipflers for that)
Meal 3: Green Cabbage with tummy speck, oak smoked sausages and Kassler - will have to start cooking that tomorrow
Meal 4: fried Leberkaese with potatoes and fried egg, salad on side
Meal 5: Borscht - made with those cute little red beets I picked up

Oh, and while I am browsing MR, I am munching on freshly baked 5-grain bread German style with Appenzeller cheese from a Swiss cheesemaker.

Gosh, I am in a happy place right now. Must be one of my better days
