I'm currently relaxing under a warm doona and trying to work up the will to walk the furkids. Last night we went to 5th birthday of nephew, and gave him Little Big Planet for the PSP, which he very much appreciated, and I wrote a poem in his birthday card, which he obviously didn't. With dessert we had a glass of Monbazillac, which I can't say was all that nice. A couple of nights ago I opened a Tassie iced Reisling, and it tasted like a cross between a Mount Pleasant late harvest dessert wine and a Brown Brothers Moscato - both wines "quaffable" in their own right, but I expect more from the iced wine. Perhaps tonight I'll open a Noble One, a known quality, unless someone wants to air-freight me an Inniskillin.

Mmm, second latte under the doona coming up. Still too cool to inspire dog-walking (going from Maggie's resting of her brick-head on my knee, she's okay with that).

Cheers,
Marc
