I'm reminded of a scene from "Yes, Minister". Hacker has finally found the memo 'hidden' at the bottom of his red boxes, and phones Sir Humphrey about it, waking him up, as it's around 1am.
After hanging up the phone, he realises he has forgotten to mention one important point.
"No, don't ring him back now" says Hacker's wife.
"Yes, you're right, I suppose it is a bit late" says Hacker.
"No, wait twenty minutes,
then 'phone him back..."
