Not gonna work. The inability to cancel orders is a limitation on
you, not Borders. Even the $25 coupon that they're giving is a goodwill gesture; they're not legally obligated to give you anything.
As ardeegee pointed out earlier, this is an excerpt from their pricing policy (emphasis is mine):
