I got a s/h PRS-300 from eBay for my mother. It's just arrived and seems OK. However, when I was on the 'phone talking her thro' how to delete unwanted books by using the Reader Library software (Macbook OSX 10.5.8), she reported an alert saying items were sync'ed and would need to be deleted from Library. When she looked at the sync tab, nothing was checked so I guess the prev owner had the reader synced to his PC.
I've had a trawl of threads here but they appear to discuss using Calibre etc as a workaround and I'd rather not take her the palaver of learning another app just for this task.
Will a hard reset remove the sync? Are there other ways of achieving this?
