My only real issue with Alias wasn't substantive, but in plot execution: how shortsighted the writers were (basically making up crap as they went, they rarely thought ahead nor wrote reflectively based on what had already gone down, and it showed) -- and apparently, I wasn't the only one, as they ultimately ended up pledging to viewers that they had written the full plot for Lost before even starting filming. Thinking ahead is 100x as important when your primary plot device is a prophet who knew your every move hundreds of years earlier.
Even so, it's worth $10 a season to me. If for no other reason than because it's the only spy show ever to have used a spork as a tool of the trade.
