Those were all the types of things I'd consider lite web browsing, and things were Flash isn't likely to be needed. So that kind of reinforces my point.
And yes I get that many people do a lot of web browsing on their phone, so maybe my post came across to broadly. But I do think most of it is fairly light stuff like that.
But anyway, I'll restate it more personally--I'd never do much browsing on a phone (if any at all, smart phones are pointless to me since I don't travel much and spend 95%+ of my time near a PC) and it would be limited to very basic stuff like e-mail, looking up an address to put in the GPS in the car etc. Not worth the $30 a month data plan--especially when I only pay $20 a month for my 12mbps home internet!
So I couldn't care less about having Flash on a smart phone if I got one as I wouldn't be watching streaming video, browsing multimedia sites with lots of flash, playing flash games etc. on my phone anyway.
I 100% would on a tablet as it would be my main surf the web on the couch or in bed gadget, so Flash support is a must for me in a tablet until some future date when Flash isn't so prevalent on sites I frequent.
