To those who commented on my desire for PDF support - you are correct. But it was a secondary motivation. My primary use was to read books on trains, planes and hotel rooms.
My complaint about not having the 100 free books was not that I wanted them, I guess it was my comment on their QC.
To SensualPoet - luckily no gas was wasted, just time, as I refuse to drive in Toronto. As long as the stores are close to the TTC, I am happy to commute - and read using Kobo on my iPhone while in transit.
I was looking for something to replace my iPhone as a book reader. The Kobo reader didn't cut it. I returned it. I can wait for something more suitable.
