I had previously Registered via the reginfo hack before upgrading to 2.5. Since upgrading all features are available except Twitter and FB, the menu options are there but they do not work because I cannot use whispernet in the UK.
Telnet is a protocol that can be used to remotely control a command line interface on a device. In order to use telnet you will first need to be able to connect via the USBnetwork hack. As mentioned before this does not appear to be working on 2.5. But I'm sure if you wait a while, someone a lot cleverer than me will work out how to get it working.
