My answer would be the opposite: yes it does!

Indeed, Kindle DX crops all the white margins possible to make the PDF as big as possible on the screen. Of course, sometimes you may find some white space on the top-bottom OR left-right side of the page, but that is obviously due to the different aspect ratio of the "text bounding box" in comparison to DX's display.
