First of all - thank you kartu for your great work. I was waiting with PRS+ instalation till there was dictionary support - this is most important feature for me as I was bored with inserting SD cards.
I was using modified DictioLauncherX dictionary and I consider it more comfortable.
1) More comfortable button mapping (IMHO):
-pgNext/pgPrev for next/previous input column
-joyRight/joyLeft for next/previous word in dictionary
-joyUp/joyDown for scrolling in word explanation (especially good with my modifiaction -
not implemented now)
-enter for translation
2) My modifiaction:
Some words has a lot of meanings (e.g.
set has 38 meanings in my dictionary!!!). So I modified dictionary this way, that all meanings of word are in single line separated by tabelator. I modified dictiolauncherX this way that all meanings are displayed at once (each meaning starts with * and is on the new line) If it takes more than 10 lines (size of window) you can still scroll results (see 1))
I would implement necessary changes (dictionary.js/dictionary.xml) but I do not know how to replace these files in reader
Could anybody help me with this?
PS: of course if anyone/karto is interested in this modification I'll be happy to make it 'public' including program transforming current dictionary to new format. Old format works with my modification as well.
