2 1/2 weeks ago, I got submitted to a job for with a former boss, who hadn't hired a contractor in over 3 years. Wham, Bam, I got a job with good pay. (I start Monday...)

Since then I have been contacted by 5 recruiters, and a company from my former hometown just requested an interview, tomorrow at 9:30 AM local.

Crazy. (My unemployment ran out in April. Undoubtable some Wall Street Journal type would say I didn't get serious until my unemployment ran out, when nothing on my part changed in 2 years.)

This isn't a rant, I just shaking my head. How could I be so worthless 2 months ago and so in demand now....
Congrats on the new job; I know from experience how depressing it can be out of work. At least you're always in demand here, but MR doesn't pay as well unless you a dead parrot who gets $300 every time he offers a word of advice!
