Good to have your company, Margaret. I've read every word of Orwell's gosh knows how many times, so your project seems pretty fascinating to me. Must take a look. By the way, have you read Christopher Hitchens' book on Orwell? Quite superb.

I was lucky as a kid to get to know the librarian at my local library (an amazing chap called Carlton Melling) who helped Orwell with research on his scathing *The Road to Wigan Pier*.
