Allured into Aluratek's fold
Hello Mobileread community! Having just purchased an Aluratek Libre Pro, and finding myself turning to Mobileread more than once in googling for information about ereaders, I decide to join the community. That said, my first experiences with Aluratek leave me wondering if I will return it to the store. On the pretext that its interface is intuitive, it provides nothing more than a quick start menu. In that respect, I have found the manual for the Etaco Jetbook to be quite useful. Despite some differences (Russian-English, Polish-English, and an English "explanatory" dictionary, whatever than means), the external features are identical, and many of the internal ones. I am not pleased either by an apparent ability to categorize books in different folders. However, I will continue to play around with different functions in the hope that use of the device becomes less a matter of trial and error. I am leaving for a trip across Russia and Mongolia to Beijing on the trans-Siberian express, which motivated me to buy the ebook rather than packing my usual dozen books or so. Look forward, too, to exchanges with the Mobileread community.
