Are you saying you don't have any of these apps registered and you are still able to buy books?

Under the "Buy now with 1-Click" do you have a device listed in the "Device" combo box?

Yeah I agree a device="the actual kindle", K4PC, K4BB, K4Mac, etc... That is what I meant by "be it a Kindle for PC, Kindle for BlackBerry.... etc" I guess I wasn't clear.
