Well, you know, there is something funny about that "doudou" thing. It's fairly recent, and other countries don't seem to have it. At least the people in Florida where my sister lives are a bit puzzled by this French custom

When I was a kid nobody had a doudou, but now it seems to be a mandatory accessory for every child.
