We have comforters too, but they tend to be the type that don't need a cover. i.e. they have pretty patterns on. A doona usually needs a cover that you can take off and wash.

Generally being room temperature around here would not make you dead. You put your chocolate in the fridge to stop it melting most of the time.

Autumn is the time to turn off/down the cooling systems and fans. We rarely need heating, which is why we have doonas on the cooler nights. Doesn't mean we will shut the windows or anything.

Even in the darkest depths of Winter. We never have anything that freezes around here. (except in the freezer)
