I'm pretty much in the same boat. I find that the iPad is tilting me toward acquiring a kindle. Except that the kindle I want is a touchscreen kindle. Or a downsized iPad, something between the iPad & the Touch/iPhone.

My sonys are sidelined. I have a few books on them but there's no interaction with the iPad. What with whispernet & Instapaper, I could feed a lot of reading to a kindle from my iPad & iPhone.
