Hmmm ... let's see: Recipe for Poached Pup
1. Locate obnoxious pup - check.
2. Shave or pluck all hair off - yippee - fun!
3. Wash pup thoroughly in boiling water to remove all surliness - splish splash!
4. Bring double boiler to full rolling boil - check.
5. Add a pinch of salt - done.
6. Immerse pup fully - sit on lid if necessary until water returns to full boil.
7. When begging/pleading/barking is over, decant pup onto previously toasted wheat bread - splot!
8. Whack pup with butter knife if still struggling - thoaque!
9. Garnish to taste with bacon and melted cheddar cheese.
10. Remove bacon from pup's mouth and whack again with butter knife - THOAQUE!
11. Chase dinner into the llounge and under the sofa!
12. Offer to trade a squirrel jacket for the spit pup has hidden under the sofa to use on the chicken.
Doggie & chicken wander off into the sunset looking for a pizza delivery car to hijack for dinner.
