I use chrome, and the "Chromed Bird" plugin for it. Before that, I used Digsby, and the twitter plugin for it. And before that, I used I used tweetdeck but found it overwhelming.

Other options (windows clients):
twirl
Spaz
destroytwitter is probably my favorite of the desktop clients.
