Yes the newfie will most likely not care about anything so long she gets to play too, in between naps that is.

When we got our dog from the pound they said she was a lab/rottweiler mix, I was hoping for a nice 60 - 70 pound massive dog. Instead she is maybe 45 pounds and naps on the back of the couch like a cat.

So much for that idea, are next dog though will be newf or maybe another german shepherd (we had one a while back). Newf's are pretty expensive right now though.

You're actually considering it? Cool! Dont tell the other breeder near you though. If she is so young you can't breed her for awhile anyway - right? So a year might work out for you, except for the breeding males costing even more money
