I don't own a 600 but believe it should do a good job as pdf reader for his size.
Although it would be better to get a PRS 900 if possible.
It's greater display helps a lot while reading all types of pdfs.
Unfortunately it's a little bit more expensive ($349.99 at sonystyle.com) than the 600.
On the bad side it's still a Sony. No Firmware updates, bad support...
I believe the best would be the Skiff or Que Reader when they are available.
