Hi cartilas and welcome to MR. It has been a little while since I last read a tree book, but it seems that I have less eye strain with the eBook reader. My eyes seem to like the grey background in the PRS-505, and the letters are nice and crisp. I have seen your Kindle 2 and I was very impressed by it too. It wasn't available in Canada when I bought my Sony.
Your mention of the Jules Verne book reminds me of yet another book I have to re-read. I read that one an awfully long time ago and forgot all about it. Thanks for the reminder. Thanks for jumping in and introducing yourself. Nice to meet you. ~jim
