I am the tech geek in my family and had no desire to get one. I like to tinker and tweak all of my tech toys. My wife wanted one, which really took me off guard. I bought her one and have to say although I can't tweak or tinker it really is a slick device. I use it quite frequently and it has replace my 505 for my evening reading sessions. Once I have a case for it, I might even consider sneaking it into my brief case for business trips.
