I've shown my Kobo to a few friends and coworkers. They all love the hardware. The most common remark was that the screen is surprisingly clear and easy on the eyes.
Unfortunately few of them plan to buy a Kobo or any other e-book reader in the near future. DRM, pricing uncertainty and privacy concerns were mentioned.
