If you add a large number of books, or complex books., it is not until you actually unplug the USB Cable AFTER stopping the device that the processor on the Kobo starts to read the data. and integrate the new material into the databases on the device.
This process can (depending on how much you have added) take an extended period of time. During this time, the Kobo is running strictly on the internal battery. This puts quite a drain on the battery of the Kobo.
I am suggesting that if there was any way to leave the Kobo attached to a charger while the data IS manipulated that it would be far easier on battery life.
