I don't understand how iPad will put the stake in flash's heart.

They sold 1 million, but really that is not that big of a dent into the PC/Laptop/Netbook base. I don't think web developers think o man we have to make sure this works on the iPad, but forget about the other MILLIONS of stations out there. This flash is dying stuff is really overblown. Especially if Android 2.2 comes out and has flash built in for mobile devices, and works great, then there is no death bed here. Also as I said before Flash does not kill the battery more than any other program that uses resources on my equipment I have. (though I have MAC OS x on my netbook, flash doesn't kill my battery any faster than anything else but that said I don't know how MAC hardware is like though).

Unless you can show me a video where flash kills a iPhone quicker than the youtube app or playing a Farmville App over Playing Farmville on flash (which is impossiple I know since you know no flash) then you cannot make that statement. You have no proof.

But as I said before if you want flash, do not buy an iPad. People have their opinions on flash. Most of the sites I go to are basical HTML. Sure some video games sites I go to are flash driven, but I have a netbook for that. If I get an iPad (waiting for a price drop, or hitting the lottery lol), I am mostly going to use it for an E-reader, possibly netflix, and of course some gaming apps. Probably won't use it much for browsing at all, that is what my netbook is for.
