I wonder if the new film will be any more historically accurate than Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, where wanted posters were printed up 200 years before Gutenberg's press, gunpowder (unknown in Europe in the 12th century) was used for explosions, the telescope (not invented until the 17th century) was used, and modern English idioms were sprinkled throughout the movie?
